IMPACT

Impact is more than attendance.

Young InnoPreneurs measures five connected areas: participation and access, youth learning and growth, solution development, youth and community insight, and showcase-to-opportunity follow-through. We distinguish verified evidence from targets and projections, and build a traceable evidence trail from participation to growth to partner action and the next opportunity.

Young participants share a community-focused project during a hands-on learning activity.

Youth growth

Agency & Purpose; Problem & Systems Understanding; Research & Listening; Solution Design; Prototyping & Execution; Impact, Financial Capability & Sustainability; Communication & Storytelling; and Collaboration & Leadership.

Tangible evidence

Challenge statements, research notes, stakeholder maps, prototypes, budgets, pitches, portfolios, reflections, mentor feedback, dashboards, insight briefs, final presentations, and Next Opportunity Plans.

Partner action

Partner feedback, recommendations adopted, youth-informed decisions, renewal or next-step decisions, and documented follow-through. The goal is not to claim impact before it is demonstrated; it is to make learning and decision-making visible enough to support the next opportunity.

Our evidence standard

Every substantive cohort or pilot should leave behind enough evidence to understand who participated, what they completed, what changed, what they produced, what the partner learned, and what happens next. The evidence workflow follows Diagnostic → Placement → Learning → Evidence → Showcase → Advancement → Next Opportunity. Participant growth is reviewed through portfolio evidence and a common 0–3 competency scale: Not Yet, Emerging, Demonstrated, and Independent/Application. Advancement is based on demonstrated evidence—not attendance or time alone.

  • Defined participant and completion records
  • Pre/post or baseline/endline measures for selected outcomes
  • Youth reflections and facilitator observations
  • Samples of participant work with appropriate permission
  • Partner feedback and renewal/next-step decision
  • For Insights Lab work: consent/data terms, analysis notes, findings, recommendations, and action follow-up
PILOT EVIDENCE · ORANGE COUNTY ACADEMY

2025–26 implementation development and evidence discipline

During 2025–26, Young InnoPreneurs communications with Central Florida Foundation documented a deeper implementation environment at Orange County Academy: a dedicated Art & Community Room; a Makerspace/Innovation Lab for design thinking, STEM, entrepreneurship, and applied problem-solving; classroom learning connected to campus assets including the chicken coop, fish farm, garden, and small housing model; and teacher collaboration to connect student interests such as technology, AI, space, gaming, and other emerging fields to meaningful learning and career pathways.

The same period helped clarify the infrastructure required for repeatable delivery: curriculum and facilitator resources, teacher training and coaching, student project materials, portfolio and evidence tools, evaluation and impact tracking, and community-partner development. The CFF grant-development process helped make those operating requirements more explicit.

2025–26 planning targets: 70–100 students engaged; about 80% portfolio completion; 70%+ measured growth in selected problem-solving, collaboration, and confidence measures; 10–15 teachers trained or supported; 20–30 student-led projects; and 3–5 active community partnerships. These figures are planning targets—not verified results. Additional achieved outcomes will be published only when the underlying records and permissions support them.

What verified proof will look like

Verified case studies will be published only when the underlying evidence is complete and permissions are clear. Each case study will show the partner challenge, what YIP delivered, who participated, youth learning and portfolio evidence, partner value, delivery economics, what we learned, and the resulting decision: continue, adapt and retest, scale, or pause.
