ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
Young InnoPreneurs serves youth and young adults ages 11–24 through hands-on learning in social innovation and entrepreneurship. Participants identify real challenges, develop ideas, test solutions, and build the confidence and skills to turn ideas into action.
MISSION
To empower Youth and Young Adults to reimagine and redesign their big ideas into innovations that benefit the economy, as well as society and the planet.
VISION
Help students explore their passions, see problems as opportunities, develop the confidence and agency to act on those opportunities and pursue fulfilling, productive lives.
OBJECTIVES
Provide youth and young adults with a guided changemaking curriculum and practical toolkit to identify challenges, develop ideas, and build innovations, social ventures, and community solutions. Our pathway supports participants from 6th grade through one year after college, with developmentally appropriate opportunities to learn, build, test, and lead.
DISTINCT PROGRAM PATHWAYS
CURIOSITY SPARKERS
For young people beginning their innovation journey. Participants explore community challenges and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), identify issues they care about, and discover how their interests and strengths can contribute to solutions. The pathway builds curiosity, confidence, and a strong foundation in social innovation and entrepreneurship.
IDEA NURTURERS
For participants who already have an idea and are ready to develop it. Through guided workshops, feedback, and mentoring, they clarify the problem, strengthen their concept, test assumptions, and build an actionable plan for a solution, innovation, or social venture.
IDEA IMPLEMENTERS
For participants ready to move from a developed idea to implementation. They build and test prototypes, engage potential users and partners, strengthen their business or impact model, and develop the leadership and execution skills needed to launch and grow their work.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
For participants who want to learn by working directly with their communities. They listen to residents and partners, investigate local challenges, map needs and assets, and co-design practical responses—building civic leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills along the way.
